Fund Raising
Our Funding
SIP is a Registered Charity (1079390) and we are therefore responsible for our own fund raising. We are financed through our membership fees and donations from members. Training costs are met by the fees paid by trainees. We also raise money through fund raising opportunities where appropriate, such as our public lecture.
Treatment and Training Fund
The Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy has a limited Treatment and Training Fund, with which we can offer intensive psychoanalytic psychotherapy at a reduced fee. This fund is used to subsidize the therapy of adults with low income, who have been assessed as suitable to be seen by a psychotherapist in training. The prospective patient must commit to three times weekly therapy for at least two years. Please contact our Administrator for any further information.
Help support psychotherapy
Many people with low incomes find it difficult to fund intensive psychotherapy for themselves. We welcome donations to our Treatment and Training Fund, or for other aspects of our work. If you or your company would like to support us, please contact us:
