Courses offered
We offer a variety of courses. Click on the title for details on each course.
- Introductory Course. A series of weekly lectures and seminars on psychoanalytic theories and concepts, extending over 2 terms of 10 evenings each.
- Observational Skills. Open to those with basic understanding of psychoanalytic theories. A one term course, based on discussing observations made in ordinary life.
- Pre-clinical courses of Infant Observation, Work Discussion, and Classical Theory.
SIP also provides full training to be a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. The Pre-clinical course is the first part of this training. It can also be taken in its own right, without proceeding to the full training.
